Eye-popping health insurance premium increases of up to 39 percent are not an exception but a worrisome sign of the times, the Obama administration said in a report Thursday.
These dramatic increases really point out the vulnerability of the current health insurance system to economic depression. As something for which people get no immediate benefit, health insurance is quickly dropped when times get tough leaving those that need it having to pick up a bigger tab to retain it.
